At our non-profit organization in Houston, Texas, our collaborative admissions process is rooted in person-centered planning with you and the Stepper candidate.
- Tour the ADA-compliant Stepping Stones Achievement Center and see firsthand the opportunities and joy available to your loved one.
- Submit an application and questionnaire to help our compassionate Admissions Committee learn about the admission’s candidate.
- Collaborate with us about what you’re looking for in a day program or aftercare program, communicate the likes and interests of your loved one, discuss concerns and establish short-, intermediate- and long-term goals.
- Determine the weekly schedule that meets your needs, whether M/W/F, T/Th, or any combination of weekdays. The majority of Steppers enjoy our five-day program to maximize their interactions with peers, although a percentage of our Steppers are also employed and have daytime commitments at their places of employment.
Both the Individual Skills & Socialization Services (ISS) and Aftercare Program follow this same admissions process.
The application fee is $25.00. The fee is nonrefundable.
